There has been a great deal of media interest in the last few weeks about the Apple iPhone (see our wiki entry), which will make its Canadian debut on July 11th, 2008. One of the aspects of this release that health professionals will want to be aware of is the importance of knowing websites that can be viewed properly on the iPhone's small screen (indeed, any mobile):

Epocrates® is one of the most valuable mobile applications used in medicine so the announcement that it would be made compatible with the iPhone operating system was met with excitement by some medical bloggers.

The major problem is that some physicians don't want to get an AT&T wireless broadband account (required for the iPhone). Steve Jobs highlighted Epocrates during iPhone's Roadmap media briefing.
